what's in your medicine cabinet?

sketch by vicky.
so, since it's winter and what-not
my daily 'getting ready' regime has changed quite a bit,
so i thought i'd tell you my favorite products
(especially for winter!)
and you can tell me yours.
V05 hot oil shower works!

this stuff is excellent
& it really improves the look/feel of my hair.
hope in a jar

i think i may have been OK with the regular hope in a jar
because this one is a bit thick but it's good for your neck & hands.
ponds cold cream

my mom told me she knew a lady who used this stuff
since she was 18 - and now she's like ... 80-something
and she looks gorgeous - hardly any wrinkles!
healthy skin blends

i trust neutrogena's products
and i really like this stuff.
it stays on and it looks fresh
even though it's powder.
c.o. bigelow chapstick
(you may also like the lipgloss)

this stuff is incredible & it tastes delicious!!
hair rollers

i've been cutting back on blow drying my hair lately,
so instead i let it air dry,
pop in some rollers for 15 minutes
and then style with pomade.
(my hair feels amazing since i started doing this!)
aveeno ultra-calming moisturizer
this is my absolute-favorite-i-can-not-live-without stuff!
it's amazingly soft, oil-free, hypoallergenic & noncomedogenic -
perfect to wear under your makeup & to bed.

that's it for me - SO, tell me your secrets!
p.s.
has anyone tried the new almay pure blends makeup line?
if so, how was it?

i'm completely in love with this little number from french connection.
it looks vintage & i really, really love the purple tights.
i've got my eyes peeled for a cute holiday dress -
something vintage or something that at least looks like vintage.
... and something that isn't too expensive ...
like, less than $100.
any web recommendations or vintage shops you like?

blue jean baby.
so, you're probably really sick & tired of hearing about my obsession with ae, but i just can't help myself.
their jeans fit me like a glove,
the jewelry is too perfect,
and the sweaters are soft & sweet.
dig these boyfriends jeans.
ooo ... and these skinnies are fiiiine.
how's this hat & this tote?
so, mom, if you're reading this and you're thinking,
"what can i get my favorite daughter for christmas?!"
here's a hint: an ae gift card.
