hello my beautiful friends!

i am finally home after a much needed visit to wisconsin
and i have to tell you
i had a wonderful time
saw lots of old friends
with new plans
and bright futures
and it really, really made me happy.

christmas was beautiful
i spent most of the time mingling
with my family
eating snacks
in my new infamous black dress
it was lovely.

new years
on the other hand
was not so lovely
justin & i spent the last 3 days
of our visit with the flu
yuck
i will say it again
yuck.

but now i'm home
and back to reality
as they say.

oh, i almost forgot to tell you
justin bought us a record player for christmas
i haven't seen it yet, as we haven't been home for the delivery
but i can't wait!

he also bought me a few new records
to play as i'd like
the list goes:

iron + wine - our endless numbered days

bon iver - for emma, forever ago

lykke li - youth novels

soon to be added:

endless dylan albums (obviously)

...

on a side note
i would like to add
that i may be slowing up on my posting
as i have loads of work to do
and "reality" to catch up on
(and a new record player)

so this isn't goodbye
or a break or something
it's just me
posting less
