spring is almost here and i am determined to find the perfect pair of sandals.

should i choose saltwater sandals?

kate just bought some really gorgeous jeffrey campbell sandals that i'm pretty much in love with.

i'm looking for something that's comfortable (i walk A LOT!)
and relatively inexpensive (tops $100)

i finally opened shop on thursday and i am so pleased!
you wouldn't believe it - i made my first sale yesterday!

i know i don't have much .. just a few cute vintage items, but i plan to make it much more.
too bad i don't live in the beautiful south, like liebemarlene.
she goes to estate sales all the time!
lucky!

i went thrifting last weekend (when it was SUPER hot outside!)
and i was pretty disappointed with the vintage shops in new york.
it's so expensive and the selection is not that impressive.
maybe i'm not looking in the right places?
(must keep repeating to myself, "we're not in wisconsin anymore!"
- you can get a lot for your money there!)

ah, well.

i'm off to take care of some much belated errands.
